In his opening remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that during the 2021 – 2025 period, the country experienced unprecedented and highly complex global and regional fluctuations. Businesses faced numerous challenges, including supply chain disruptions, market shortages, tariff-related issues, as well as natural disasters and storms. However, under the leadership of the Party and the State, together with the extraordinary efforts of the business community and the people, the economy has overcome these difficulties and achieved significant outcomes.
Entering the 2026 – 2030 period, achieving double-digit growth has been identified as a major strategic objective, requiring strong transformation in development thinking, particularly emphasizing the leading role of enterprises. Businesses are regarded as the core productive force, directly engaged in innovating growth models, promoting the application of science and technology, accelerating digital transformation, and enhancing competitiveness.
Concluding the Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highlighted the guiding principle: “A facilitating State, pioneering enterprises, public – private partnership, national development, and people’s well-being.” Relevant stakeholders are required, within their assigned functions, duties, powers, and responsibilities, to effectively implement their tasks in order to achieve the set objectives.
